British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager in Monterrey.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective management of the preventive maintenance areas, spare parts inventory, and the coordination of line electricians and auxiliary staff within the factory. This position is responsible for the creation and annual planning of the factory budget, coordinating its management,
and ensuring financial control through meticulous inventory management and expense approvals. The role also involves leading and mentoring the preventive maintenance and production electrician teams, participating in global spare parts meetings, and leading supplier contracts to support the factory's operational goals.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Management of preventive maintenance areas, spare parts, line electricians, and auxiliary staff (general tasks related to tobacco products).
- Creation and annual planning of the budget.
- Factory budget management.
- Inventory control in the spare parts warehouse.
- Management and execution of spare parts write-offs.
- Overtime control for the maintenance and electrician teams.
- Approval of purchase orders for spare parts and expenses.
- Participation in the global spare parts' meeting.
What are we looking for?
- Professional degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in maintenance-related positions.
- 2 years of experience leading teams of over 50 people.
- High proficiency in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Office tools (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Approach committed to responsibility and dedicated to achieving outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills.
