Job Description: CRITICALITY OF THE POSITION:The Production Manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing all production reporting departments in the production area, to support achieving business objectives with respect to production.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Execute daily production schedules.Supervise staff members to ensure that deadlines are met.Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.Monitor production to resolve issues.Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.Responsible for the day-to-day production plan and execution.Lead scheduling, planning, and production control.Review and improve the operational methods.Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff.Able to manage resources based on workload and flexibility to volume as required.Ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident-free.Communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team.Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.Ensure adequate scheduling of staff.Determine the amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.).POSITION REQUIREMENTS:The candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English, with written and verbal skills in both languages required.A degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field.Proven experience as a production manager.Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.Experience in managing change.Ability to delegate and hold accountability.Prioritizing and aligning resources.Skills in selecting, developing, and motivating others.Commitment to continuous improvement.Ability to communicate and influence effectively.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Attention to detail.Experience in building teams and teamwork.Able to travel.
