.**Date**:Mar 29, 2021**Location**: Villa de Garcia, MX**Company**:AkzoNobel**_Pay grade: MM3_****Purpose of the job**- Plans, coordinates and controls production related activities at the site to meet objectives and budgets with regard to HSE, quality, service and cost.- Co-develops and executes plans related to improving HSE, quality, service and costs in conjunction with the Site Management Team.- Participates in the definition & execution (where relevant) of investments for production related activities and equipment.- Works with RD&I to enable New Product Initiatives, of which product responsibility is accepted from RD&I after three successful batches. Calls-off all required non-product related resources (Site Operation Consumable & Services and real estate including facilities).- Leads and ensures Daily Operational Review are conducted effectively and day-to-day problems are solved and contained.- Enables and contributes to the implementation of Continuous Improvement activities & programs for HSE, Quality, ALPS or other as may be assigned from time to time Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.**Key responsibilities**- Inspires commitment to AN core principles, values and leadership behaviors to engage his team.- Creates and promotes an open environment for team to deliver best possible results according to target and resources available.- Manages and build employee engagement for the direct and indirect reports but also with internal and external customers.- Ensures that people in the team are meeting the job profile, keep job description updated and on line with AN requirements, set objectives for team, review results and people development periodically and take action, give feedback and coaching as required.- Identify and strengthen the talent pipeline, defines incentives and discuss talent movement with Site Manager and HR and assess the risk of losing talent. Monitors and evaluate retention risk for the team.- Ensures the team is fully informed and in compliance with HSE&S and local regulations.- Manage and plan HC and cost budget to meet results.- Keep in touch with Site Manager to give and receive feed back on personal and production targets and do the same with direct reports.**Level of autonomy**- A main decision to be taken is the need for scheduling Over Time in case of back-log or production orders over loading, HC analysis for hiring new positions in case of growth or fill open vacancies as repositions for turnover.- Quick response to customer claim by him or his team to complete root cause analysis on 8D, Audit preparedness for Automotive customer Audits or Visits.- Contribute with Site team as important member to attend customer meetings and reports, visit to customers in case of claims
