.POSITION SUMMARYEnsure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.RESPONSIBILITIESManage peopleStrong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring.Ensure that any new employee follows an induction process.Manage directly the Managers, Sr. Supervisors, Supervisors, and indirectly all functions related to the APU.Monitor competencies for the team and develop autonomy (training plan building, follow-up & training actions implementation).Ensure working standards are respected during operations (safety, work instructions, quality, and respect of the product).Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards.Develop an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team by building working relationships and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.Lead daily, weekly & monthly meetings, and organize delegation.Conduct annual appraisals, salary reviews, career interviews, and succession planning.Perform OJT of teams every day on standards & methodologies implemented.Recognize and congratulate the team for improvements.Ensure a positive social climate on the APUs.Manage productivity and capex projects related to production areas, meeting budget and required finish dates.Ensure enforcement of health, safety, and environmental rules.Ensure corrective & preventive maintenance of equipment & sustainable TPM.Define work standards with the help of support functions.Strong communication skills to interact with corporate personalities.Manage productionResponsible for customer satisfaction.Accountable for plant production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements, and maintaining orderly operations.Accountable for SQCDP performance and profitability of APUs.Ensure optimal use of equipment (OEE).Assign & check corrective actions on recurring problems with APU and Plant support departments.Ensure manufacturing performance, volume, quality, and cost goals are met.Escalate unsolvable issues at Site level.Validate monthly the demonstrated capacity and communicate to SIOP / MPS.Weekly commit on MPS and respect daily the MPS contract.Take necessary measures to respect weekly MPS in case of daily deviations.Manage continuous improvementLead daily APUs War room (SQCDP).Lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination.Lead daily gemba activities with the team.Lead & review action plans to improve SQCDP performance.Responsible for Customer Line Return analysis and solving for products from the APU.Translate customer requirements into manufacturing strategies and processes.Manage VSM deployment plan and ensure Flow Transformation workshops.Prepare budget proposal and manage the budget of APUs.Contribute to successful new projectsBe involved in the industrialization of new projects and ensure a flawless launch.Validate the Lean Process Design for new projects
