.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesAs the Production Manager you will be pivotal the initial set-up and daily operations, ensuring safety protocols, quality control, efficiency, and productivity from day one. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing quality control, implementing process improvements, and achieving production targets. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the startup of the manufacturing operation - Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness. - Develop and implement strategies to improve and automate manufacturing processes while ensuring product quality and compliance with government regulations. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. - Manage the Plant supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth production schedules and timely product delivery. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, embracing lean manufacturing principles and encouraging employee involvement in process optimization and problem-solving initiatives. - Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production line workers to senior management, to ensure alignment with company goals and productivity targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.Experiência y requisitosQualifications: - A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. - Proven experience as a production manager, or in a similar role in a manufacturing setting. - Experience in production transfer. - Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and management principles, including lean manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain management. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. - Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and continuous improvement methodologies. - Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment. - Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes in the manufacturing environment. - Solid financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control. - Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in manufacturing management software, Microsoft Office and ERP, IFS is a plus. - US Visa and availability to travel internationally. - Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a track record of implementing process improvements. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
