As a PRODUCTION PLANNER, you will tackle and own the planning, releasing and management of production work orders for assigned value streams and work centers.**Key Responsibilities**- Collaborate with manufacturing to prioritize, expedite and de-expedite work orders based on material availability, work center resources and capacity, and customer demand requirements.- Ensure inventory level optimization to improve and minimize cost.- Incorporate forecast information, capacity constraints, and inventory requirements into a comprehensive sales and operations planning process.- Participates in cross-functional project teams related to planning and process improvement initiatives.**Qualifications**- From a Bachelor Degree + 2 training acquired in production planner.- Computer proficiency in Excel is a must.- Strong ability to work and influence through various levels of the organization.- Ability to critically think; problem solving and organizational skills.**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
