**Job Description**:
Responsible for analyzing and communicate to the site's leadership team the customers' demand and the site's capacity to meet it.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- APICS certification desired.
- + 8 years as a production planner in the manufacturing industry.
- + 5 years as a production planner for injection molding operations.
Typical Accountabilities:
- Analyze the different work centers capacity to meet customers' demand. Communicate to the site's leadership team the results of the analysis and recommended actions.
- Work with AMER's supply chain team to ensure the integrity of the Monterrey site's planning data.
- Work in collaboration with other functions to manage new product introductions or current products transfers to other sites or life cycle management.
- Manages the site's service related KPI's. Coordinates efforts with other functions to present action plans using a root cause analysis tool to ensure the site meets or exceeds these KPI's.
- Create and manage the procedures required for the function to meet the company's policies and quality management system standards.
- Comply and promote within other team members the adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
- To issue a detailed production schedule per work center to meet customer demand in a timely manner. Consider any and all factors involved in this process to ensure the production team has the information needed to execute it and, escalate as required when raw materials are unavailable.
- Any other task required by the company.
**Skills**:
- Bilingual English - Spanish a must.
- High level understanding of ERP systems. BPCS and D365 desired.
- Highly analytical
- High level of use of MS Excel
- SQL desired
- Scheduling tools
- Verbal and writing communication.
