Eaton's ESSG CPSD PDD Power Delivery Division division is currently seeking a Production Planner.
**What you'll do**:
"
Assure availability and continuity of material supply to the distribution center as required while being responsible for on time manufacturing and scheduling of internal and external supply chains. The Planner performs diversified duties related to MRP planning, scheduling, ECN/ECR maintenance and expediting finished goods and components in order to support customer delivery goals. The planner establishes, communicates and maintains the production schedule and leads the RCCP process. Requires judgment in anticipating future requirements through analysis and interpretation of current production status.

"A. Create a production plan based on the master schedule for the production line
B. Balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line
C. Process ECN/ECR's received and update production orders to reflect changes in BOM's
D. Expedite and assign priorities to production orders in SAP, cascading priorities to internal supply
E. Be the champion in VSM to finish all production orders older than 2 weeks
F. Be the champion for preventing COGI errors in SAP as well as driving accountability from production or any other involved parties
G. Drive accountability for past due status and OTM within the VSM.
H. Provide information to supply planners about production order and expedites status so RGID's are communicated to customers
I. Coordinate reschedules of production orders based on material availability
J. Daily review and communication with the VSM manager and team about production attainment
K. Analyze, report and creatively find alternatives to material shortages that affect the production plan.

G. Past due in lines, dollars and aging.

- Participate in and demonstrate understanding of other programs such as Eaton Business System (EBS), Eaton Management of Environmental Safety & Health (MESH), etc
- Participate in and demonstrate positive attitude towards COP's, RIE, Value stream mapping and other Continuous improvement activities."
**Qualifications**:
- "- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration or equivalent. "- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (high mix, low demand preferred) as production planner.
**Skills**:
- "- SAP experience- APICS certification desire.
- Excel.
- Knowledge of repetitive and discrete production"
This position requires someone that has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate both with upper and lower level personnel. Must have good sense of judgment, knowledge of products, knowledge of an ETO manufacturing environment and administrative abilities. APICS certification is a plus, along with a good working knowledge of computer systems and SAP.#LI-MB2
