As a Production Planner, you will develop a production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum inventory.
You will report to Planning and Inventory Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan Finished goods/Intermediates and follow up the correct execution of the Plan to avoid stockouts, low stock, and excess stock.
- Developing weekly and monthly production plans based on customer demand and inventory levels and policies, addressing exceptions and recommendations set by the system.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the material master database with the parameters in Oracle.
- Surveillance, Plan and coordinate to reduce slow turning inventory, included the No Good inventory, Returns, Workoff.
- Requests to process engineering and technical departments the development of corresponding formulas and routings to make sure the non stock can be recovered or consumed.
- Daily, Weekly and monthly meetings with Supply Chain and Operation teams to review status backlogs, production schedules, Rough cut capacity planning ensuring capacity is balanced, Material availability review.
- Coordinate with demand planning and locations team on projections to ensure product availability for all portfolio.
**Qualifications**
- Industrial engineering
- Experience in the automotive chemical industry
- + 5 years experience in planning operations and procurement
- Lean manufacturing
- Advanced Excel
- Use ERP and some of its planning optimizers.
- Basic knowledge in Master data stewardship.
- English level 60% minimum, can business written conversation and listening.
