Maxeon is seeking a Tool Install/Project Deployment Engineer to ensure Maxeon's growth by leading the design, development, installation, qualification, and subsequent metrics demonstration of new, retrofitted, and replicate module tools needed for capacity expansion of existing or new technologies. He is also responsible for the deployment of several projects (automation, HC reduction, value engineering, UPH improvements, etc) as part of continuous improvement. The start-up support team is responsible for ensuring that vendors are complying with the specifications of tools being installed and the schedule of tool installation during the production ramp. The Tool install/Project Deployment Engineer reports to the Tool Install/Start-Up Support Supervisor or Manager. Monitoringof W.O. until completion and shipment. Support trouble shooting activities to protect supply commitments in an event of process/quality/material shortfall issue. Communicates and monitor execution of build priorities and shipment to fulfill customer orders. Monitors and drive FG depletion plan to minimize surplus inventory at Factories. Material allocation management thru Work Order issuance and monitoring of deliveries. Work order housekeeping and new PN set-up in the system. Role functions:Review cell inventories Material production boards, purchasing, ODP, logistics. Routing of new part numbers. Review production plan. Coordinate shipment of cells to distribution centers for sale. Generate cell-by-room projections. Comply with proper operating procedures of health and safety rules and regulations.
