**What will you do?
**Reporting to the Planning & Procurement Manager, the incumbent will be required to assist our onsite production planning team for the execution of daily tasks.
The Production Planner Assistant will actively play a support and problem-solving role within his/her work team.
**Responsibilities**- Confirm and process customer orders in the production schedule- Update the production schedule with jobs changes- Request and follow-up on engineering support for jobs needing technical review- Create and follow-up on work orders in SAP- Adjust work orders when alternative components are used- Run the missing component analysis and coordinate missing components needs with purchasing and in-house production- Prepare backorder authorization forms and coordinate with Production Execution Service (PEX) for production and shipping- Prepare various production reports / KPI**What will you need to succeed?
