The planner/scheduler prepares the feasible Production Plan based on production needs by planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring through the complete production cycle keeping an optimal inventory level of finished goods to assure the service level required by the Clients.- Analyzes assorted Demand Sources (Forecasts, Firm Client Orders, Etc.) as well as attends meetings with Production, Quality, Materials, Engineering, and CSR'S, to create Feasible Production Plans. Checks the Client's requirements, Negotiates Potential Product End of Life Activities and includes it in the WPS Planning.- Uses the CRP (Capacity Resource Plan) Techniques to Increase, Decrease or Maintain the Plant's Capacity. Manages the MPS/MRP parameters for Planning.- Can be involved in the Material Requirements Planning.- Controls the Finished Goods Inventory.- Can be involved in Customer Service to Coordinate on Time Deliveries.- Works directly with the Process Flow Chart Coordinator to manage tasks to insure the continuous flow of work as well as the Completion of Projects.- Appraises the Performance of Production Areas and Recommends the appropriate Development Plans.- Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Production and Materials Control Function.- Takes projects timelines and consolidates them into master timeline with daily/weekly milestone.- Takes multiple production schedules, identify labor required by project, by task and create master production schedule for manpower and resource planning:- Need to estimate production department by day/week.- Need to identify and understand incoming supplier materials and schedule production.- Need to foresee production bottle necks based on equipment capacity.- Be able to analyze and determine second shift or weekend shift manpower capacity.- Responsible for planning new projects, work collaboratively with engineering, project managers and operations, to ensure that the planning activities are in alignment with our timeline.- Control and follow-up of purchase orders based on priorities.- Work on special projects as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 a la semanaHorario:- Diurno- Lunes a viernesPrestaciones:- Servicio de comedor con descuento- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadExperiência:- Planeación de Producción: 2 años (Obligatorio)
