Create and maintain the production schedule for all products manufactured by the company. Work closely with Production, Engineering, quality and Supply Chain to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and that inventory levels are maintained.Production planner sequence production in Assembly lines, sub assembly and fabrication. Monitor continuously all problem inventory, track and improve changeovers. Responsible to achieve and sustain adherence to company rules associated with Master Scheduling.**Responsibilities**:- Coordinate daily planning activities, provide feedback and support development of Planning initiatives and strategies.- Create production plan and production orders.- Assign priority to ensure customer requirements.- Accountable for planning production & service weekly and daily ship requirements and window times; communicate with production and shipping departments. Proactively react to changes.- Work in collaboration with production team to reach highest Efficiency Levels, on time delivery and communicate plans to satisfy customer requirements.- Meet daily planning team to assess production schedules, (adjust as necessary based on production results) optimize run quantities and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery.- Work closely with purchasing and planning team following escalation path when critical situations arise with vendors.- Work in coordination with Manufacturing and Quality teams on changes or deviations required.- Assure maintaining the target level of inventory and avoiding obsolescence within the department.- Ensure 100% on-time delivery & establish build readiness.Qualifications:**Requirements**:- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Field. A master's degree is preferred. Required at least 3 years of experience managing the Production Schedule.- Shows the ability to understand customer demand and how to alter production so that this demand is met.- Leadership and strong communications skills.- MPS Master Production Scheduling.- Knowledge on high mix and take advantage of capacity installed, fix, and develop a full cycle order with MPW & APW metrics, good understanding of JIT and JIS environment.- Understands how to document production goals and deviations from these goals on a regular basis
