The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere's ongoing investment in emerging markets.**Main Responsibilities**:- Ensures production plan for all demand streams does not exceed critical work center capacity.- Creates, maintains and publishes rolling 18-month production and material plan for all demand streams.- Coordinates or executes rough-cut capacity planning to validate production plan for all demand.- Develops daily schedules and sequenced lineup for whole goods.- Resolves material requirements planning exception messages for upper level bill of material assemblies, e.G., base machine and factory tops.- Ensures all factory demand requirements are accurately reflected in the production planning systems.- Collaborates with Order Fulfillment to facilitate and/or coordinate the sales and operation planning (S&OP) process for home factory and participate in interfactory customer S&OP process and meetings.- Coordinates resource capacity and manpower planning with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations functions.**What Skills You Need**:- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and factory operations.- Understanding of manufacturing databases and inputs.- Understanding of bills of material.- Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems.**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Experience working in one or more operations support functions such as warehousing, logistics, etc.- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and scheduling.- Cross functional work exp in multiple areas, i.E., accounting, product eng, quality, manufacturing ops, warehousing/ distribution, production employee supervision, supply mgmt, marketing, HR, industrial eng, etc
