This position is responsible for scheduling work orders for production to satisfy customer demand optimizing resources to ensure cost-efficient and on time delivery to our customer.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:- Plan work orders within MRP software (Epicor).- Performs clear build analysis to make sure raw material and resources are available before releasing WOs to production floor.- Create, release and print work orders based on Master Schedule from Demand Planning.- Collaborate and work with Engineering, Purchasing and Production to resolve constraints.- Elaborate a production plan based on customer demand, materials and resource availability.- Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between manufacturing processes to expedite production by using reports to identify current and potential nonmoving WO.- Reviews NCMR reports and attends MRB meetings to obtain status on rejected parts in production, informs Demand Planning about any potential delays to customer orders.- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time. Address issues when they arise that impact on delivery time to the customer.- Monitors production reports and informs production Supervisors if there any open operation steps missing completion.- Communicates with production about any customer expedites and obtains commitment shipment date.- Monitors performance to the master schedule (PTS) in accordance to production promise completion dates - Notifies Supervisor of any delays and risks to OTD.- Compiles/Publishes weekly reports such as:- Performance to Schedule- Participates in the order confirmation process with demand planning.- Participates in daily production meetings.**Requeriments**Minimum of 1-3-year experience in production planning.- 90% Bilingual (English - Spanish)- Production planning process knowledge and inventory control principles- Pull System knowledge a plus (Kanban, Min-Max, Re-order Point, Consignment Etc.)- High proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel - Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.- Organizational and analytical skills- Strong problem solving and negotiation Skills- APICS Certification- Courses is a plus- Excellent interpersonal communication skills- Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situationsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- DiurnoLugar de trabajo: In person
