Regardless of your race, belief, sexual orientation, religion or any other trait, YOU are welcome in all open positions at the largest healthcare company in the world.When You Join Johnson & Johnson, Your Next Move Could Mean Our Next Breakthrough.**COMPANY****JOB SUMMARY* **- May lead a small team of planners to ensure that production is completed as efficient as possible. - Responsible to develop systems to improve site efficiency utilizing all available resources to plan production while meeting customer requirements and inventory targets **RESPONSIBILITIES****RESPONSIBILITIES**Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:- Leads preparation of schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes.- Leads customer service and inventory results for their assigned codes.- Leads analysis of product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications and plant capacity data.- Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production.- Monitors planning modules or production planning systems and related information- Drive opportunities for lead time improvements.- Act as the business unit manager's customer service champion and recommend actions to achieve service and inventory objectives.- Provides guidance on any activity that affects capacity required to achieve the short-term production volume, which would include making recommendation to the business unit manager on the need to run overtime to achieve the production requirements.- Leads review of capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints. Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches.- Ensures resources required for production.- Provide weekly and daily direction to the manufacturing business unit manager and leadership team to ensure required production levels are achieved.- Ensures systems data integrity and accuracy of signals.- Ensure optimum mix of codes and quantities are scheduled within available capacity daily.- Coordinate with supply chain partners to ensure raw materials are available to achieve the production plan.- Work with Supply Planner to identify proper allocation of scarce raw materials.- Identify root causes to issues and recommend corrective actions affecting ability to run the short-term production plan.- Ensure the Process Excellence team updates planning parameters to reflect demonstrated manufacturing capability (lead time, yield, scrap rates, usage rates)
