Accountable to set goals, policies, procedures and prepares budget and business plans and responsible to provide coaching, mentoring and foster people development to direct and non-direct reports.**You will be responsible for**:- Lead the plant effort to adhere to EPS lean manufacturing principles and rules for the scheduling and material flow process.- Manage production process to meet Customer Service objectives 96% OTIF) without compromising product quality or employee safety.- Analyzethe Planning Model Report daily to manage capacity constraints and determine production quantities.- Perform short term capacity planning and advises Management of any potential production issues.- Attend Integrated Production Team (IPT) meetings daily in case ** production planning and scheduling planner does not attend, and Production Meetings to represent Materials Management and highlight material flow concerns and issues.- Monitor Kanban levels and work closely with facilitators to manage production process.- Manage local events, which impact production capacity, and coordinate major events with Event Planning.- Investigate and quickly resolve all issues impacting production.- Analyze material flow trends (WIP Exceptions) to determine departmental impact on production flow.- Manage the re-introduction of material into the production flow from salvage and/or inspection- Lead the daily staff production meeting.- Provide short and long-term capacity information to Supply Planner in support of creation of new PSR's
