Production Planning Control (Production Planner)

Descripción y detalle de las actividadesCreates work orders and ensure production plan matches customer order committed ship date.Ensure work orders are released on time, track through production floor.Identifies work order shortages (material discrepancy) and notifies (planner) buyer for timely resolution.Makes production plan (daily/weekly) and directs Production team's priorities, based on master plan and working Master Scheduler.Works with Production and Planner to update the production plan based on customer pull-ins and pushouts.Communicates any committed ship date changes to Planner (No el PM).Co-ordination (Approval of) with engineering and production to execute (ECO/ECN) cut in date and disposition of any materials.Makes changes to pick list as approved by engineering for substitutes and alternates.Coordinates the processing of deviations where applicable, adjusting pick list and managing (Approval of) the deviation.Escalates any delays and changes in schedule to Planner (per event if impact commit).Integrates RMA's into normal production plan / processes.Owns daily committed deliveries to customer (actual versus committed).Prepare daily shipment paperwork (Move to shipping area).
