.Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Production Planning Supervisor.**What you'll do**:**Job Summary**Responsible for developing the master production plan to satisfy customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory. Responsible for providing the plant with a monthly production plan consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast, determining the desired inventory levels for finished goods to the pack size including safety stock levels. Face to the internal customer regarding the status of demands and production.**Responsibilities**:- Stablish strong working relationships with Procurement, Production & Customer Service teams to ensure that there is a good understanding of customer requirements and changing demand conditions.- Implement and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in the ERP system for specific customers or Product Lines to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts while ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained. Linking SIOP to mid-term site planning. Ensure that site planning functions work effectively with production personnel to match supply with demand, at minimum cost and maximum efficiency.- Implement processes and metrics to deliver the systems required to facilitate Demand Management and Planning, taking full advantage of ERP modules capabilities.- Execute SIOP/Forecasting, Capacity Planning (RCCP)- Ensure that information used for planning of make item (MPS) is accurately set up and maintain in the system in order to provide reliable downstream information, making best use of Planning Parameters.- Ensure that production schedule is provided in a timely manner. Monitor daily attainment metric.- Develop inventory targets and manage production to achieve targeted inventory levels on both a cost and unit basis.- Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels in ensure high service levels, i.E. product availability.- Project finished goods inventory levels on a quarterly basis. Achieve desired corporate inventory turn targets.- Motivates and coaches employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality. Develop employees to improve usage of the ERP.- Promotes employee development and potential through effective performance management and coaching and ensures that appropriate and required training is completed for direct reports so that they have the necessary skills, knowledge information and tools to do their jobs safely and effectively.- Prepare and maintain various management reports and metrics in Excel (demand projections, sales, OTD, Past due)LI-SL4**Qualifications**:**Education level required**- Bachelor degree in Administration, Supply Chain or Engineering from an accredited institution.**Years and area of experience required**- Minimum of 5 years of experience in master scheduling and inventory controls, preferably in the same industry sector.**Skills**:**Technical knowledge**- Fluent in English at business level
