Production Plant Health Worker- Visa H2-A

Clean and maintain the equipment to insure proper functioning. Report information about plants and plant growth. Assist in operating and maintaining irrigation equipment and climate control systems, assist with the direction of weeding crews.Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to fertilize, spray, or mix nursery soil. Assist the Production Forepersons with the direction of grading crews, planting crews, growing crews, and maintenance crews of containerized plant material. Assist the ShippingForepersons in the accurate and timely shipments of nursery products, working with the Inventory Forepersons and Central Dispatch, organizing and distributing the necessary paperwork, assisting with the direction of order pulling crews, loading crews, and tagging crews. Monitor safety practices. Fill in with general labor when needed. Assist with time keeping and work schedule maintenance.Maintain records to measure productivity and help ensure processes are maintained. Train new and existing employees to maintain maximum productivity and safety.
