Overview:The Production Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling of materials, assembly and/or sub-assemblies to achieve production goals and plans.**Responsibilities**:- Interpret and release subassembly work orders according to the production programs.- Establish sequence of work to be carried out, based on the priority of the requirements, delay in customer orders and production programs.- Balance the schedule and keep records of the workload in each department.- Analyze computer reports to identify missing materials and generate the request and / or shipment if applicable- Anticipate the promise dates to determine possible failures in the fulfillment and take corrective actions in a timely manner.- Prepare various reports related to inventories, orders in process, on-time deliveries, variation in production orders, manufacturing and production costs vs scheduling.- Investigate situations and reasons for open orders and/or discrepancies in production order system and request corrections as soon as required.- Expedite materials to facilitate compliance with production programs.- Perform various functions related to the assigned work.- Perform together with the production team the analysis of the root cause in the solution of the problems presented in production to give the appropriate corrective action and if it applies preventiveQualifications:- Professional career or five years of experience in production scheduling, expediting and materials- Bilingual English - Spanish- Microsoft Office Knowledge- SAP- Data analysis- Root-cause analysis- Leadership- Good human relationship- Ability to work as a team- Ability to communicate- Ability to make decisions- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
