RESPONSIBILITIESManage directly the Sr. supervisors, supervisors and indirectly (Dotted line) all functions related to the APU.Monitor competencies for the team and develop autonomy (training plan building, follow-up & training actions implementation).Ensure working standards are respected on the APU during operations (safety, work instructions, quality, and respect of the product).Ensure that standards of reaction are applied rigorously and perform escalation according to standards.Lead daily, weekly & monthly meetings, and organize delegation.Conduct annual appraisals, salary reviews, career interviews, succession planning & provide feedback. Communicate a mindset of continuous improvement & responsibility vs. targets achievement inside the APU.Be responsible for customer satisfaction.Be accountable for SQCDP performance and profitability (gross margin) of the APU, in terms of targets achievement and improvement.Ensure optimal use of equipment (OEE).Assign & check corrective actions on recurring problems with APU and Plant support departments.Escalate at Site level the issues that can't be solved at APU level.Validate monthly the demonstrated capacity of the APU and communicate to SIOP / MPS.Weekly commit on MPS.Respect daily the MPS contract.In case of daily MPS respect deviation, take necessary measures to have the weekly MPS respected by the end of the week.Lead daily APU War room (SQCDP).Lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination.Lead daily gemba activities with the team, focusing on the TOP 3 issues countermeasures review.Lead & review action plans to improve SQCDP performance (actual and targets).Be responsible for Customer Line Return analysis and resolution for products from the APU in front of customers.Manage the VSM deployment plan Flow of the APU, ensuring that there are Flow Transformation workshops to simplify operations.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.A minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or engineering, preferably in Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, Metal fabrication or similar industries.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).Desired Six Sigma Green Belt certification and exposure to Operative systems based on Toyota Production Systems.Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.Production and Processing knowledge, including raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Administration and Management knowledge, including business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.#J-18808-Ljbffr
