.As a **Production Superintendent**, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of production to ensure the efficient and effective operation of manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production teams, engineering, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to meet production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:**Production Management**:- Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.- Monitor production metrics, such as throughput, cycle time, and scrap rates, and take corrective actions as needed.- Coordinate with production planners to prioritize production orders and allocate resources accordingly.**Team Leadership**:- Lead, motivate, and develop production teams to achieve performance goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members to enhance skills and performance.- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.**Continuous Improvement**:- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in production operations.- Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize production processes.- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams and projects to drive operational excellence initiatives.**Quality Assurance**:- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer requirements.- Implement quality control measures, inspections, and audits to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement.- Investigate and resolve quality issues in collaboration with engineering and quality teams.**Safety and Compliance**:- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate safety risks.**Production Planning and Inventory Management**:- Work closely with supply chain and materials management teams to ensure the availability of materials and components for production.- Develop and execute production plans, schedules, and capacity assessments.- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize inventory turnover and minimize obsolescence.**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the automotive industry.- Desire experience on automotive interiors process and products (Injection molding, foam, cut, sew and wrap.)- Knowledge of the automotive industry.- Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
