Responsibilities:Enforce Safety and Environmental regulations.Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as assembly, inspectors, machines, and fabricators.Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Maintain capacity plans to meet or changes as required.Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers.Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. In partnership with Management develop solutions, programs, and procedures.Communicate daily the customer's order status and corrective actions required to maintain schedule and quality.Prepare action plans to recover production or past dues.Education And Certifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.Qualifications:At minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or engineering. Experience in Industrial, Automotive, Health care, Telecommunications, Fabrication, or Electrical Power Generation a plus.Bilingual 80% English -Spanish preferred.Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, safety, and labor relations.Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
