While our name may not be familiar to consumers, our products are key components of foods offered by many of the world's best-known companies.Position: Production SupervisorLocation: AtitalaquiaReports to: Manufacturing ManagerPurpose of the Position:To coordinate the production areas (liquids & dry blends) to complete the production plan while ensuring staff safety, food safety, equipment conditions, and product quality.To ensure the accomplishment of internal procedures & policies regarding safety, food safety, quality, environmental standards, and GMP.To maintain a good work environment.Major Duties & Responsibilities:Daily tracking & accomplishment of the production plan.Delivering relevant information to the next shift & management team in a timely manner (shift to shift, shift report, closing of the week & starting of the week).Leading the DMSII with partners from other areas & following up on the SQDCM dimensions.Assigning activities to union operative staff according to the priorities of the production plan.Delivering finished products to the warehouse.Recording production volume in the ERP & closing the production process in the ERP (packing material withdrawal, raw material reconciliation).Supervising the washing of equipment according to procedures and correct frequency.Backing up the quality supervisor to release the cleaning of equipment.Applying discipline to union operative staff in case of deviations & ensuring proper follow-up.Providing feedback about union staff for category upgrades.Controlling payroll incidences: absenteeism, overtime, permits, vacations, etc.
Reporting the information in the proper ways & systems.Programming vacations for union staff & obtaining backup to avoid any impact on the production plan.Participating in the implementation of new products & processes on the shop floor.Reporting all breakdowns and damages to installations in the proper system & time (Fiix, daily shift report, DMSII).
Reporting all detected risks in the operation of equipment to the maintenance team.Collaborating with the maintenance area to execute preventive maintenance on time.Supervising the correct use of equipment, tools, & installations.Checking in advance the production plan & reporting any risks to top management.Supervising product yield to avoid cost & service impacts.Actively participating in audits (internal & external).Managing the internal production warehouse
