Requisition ID: 33411- Job Location(s): Santiago De Queretaro, MXDanfoss is looking for an experienced **Production Supervisor** based in Queretaro. This position is responsible for first-line supervisor responsible for assigning and coordinating the work for the CNC Machining Area. Supervises hourly employees, maintains log of shift operations. Prepares daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Monitoring of processes focused on achieving the SQDC.
- Development of the operations of its area within the budgets allocated for the use of tools and material expense required by the process and objectives of rotation, scrap, absenteeism and production.
- Develop a pleasant and friendly atmosphere based on timely communication and recognition of good performance.
- Support for new projects and redesigns focus on continuous improvement processes.
- Support departments providing support to the guards, medical clinic, cafeteria, human resources, etc.
- Keep records in writing or in electronic form of internal managers in your area tale as turnover, production, attendance, discipline control.
- Communicate with your manager on training needs and training for personal or area.
- Operate their areas in strict accordance with our quality system and within the established requirements and standards of ISO900, ISO-14001.
- Manage and drive continuous improvement of product delivery system.
- Participation in VSM to define priorities for other lean tools.
- Individual coaching of production associates on lean techniques / tools.
- Scheduling and participation in lean events as defined by VSM.
- Create and maintain continuous improvement ( Kaizen ) actions list.
- Manage timely completion of kaizen actions.
- Participation and fulfillment of problem solving analysis (5whys, 4 steps, 8Ds).
- Participation and assignment of activities derived from the tactical implementation plan (TIP).
**Background & Skills**:
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering.
- 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in automotive experience preferred
- Strong Knowledge in CNC Manufacturing Process

- Knowledge in MRP (MFGPro preferred or similar)
