Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor.
**What you'll do**:
Lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources management according to established practices and or policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. Promote the continuous improvement process and a safety culture.
B. Prepare report daily production status.
C. Coordinate, leverage, and utilize appropriately resources to resolve manufacturing problems, improve processes and meet external and internal customer demands.
D. Provide and implement training that will enable personnel to better perform.
E. Coordinate and administer employees: attendance, punctuality, overtime, vacations, and permissions.
G. Maintain and report accurate inventory numbers while continually seeking ways to reduce work in progress (WIP) inventory levels and maximizing product flow while identifying and implementing cost out opportunities.
H. Participate in setting, communicating and achieving department goals and develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and use those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinate and/or participate in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results.
I. Supervise the identification of material non-conforming of their staff, at least once at shift.
J. Coordinate with Human Resources in the selection, promotion, counseling and termination of employees using Eaton guidelines and policies.
K. Monitor machinery, equipment and facility and initiate maintenance work orders as required, to ensure safe working conditions, efficient and effectiveness.
L. Promotes the company's vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.
M. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote engagement & participation to achieve results (Hi5 & Turnover, etc).
**Qualifications**:
Engineering degree or related fields required.
2-3 years experience desire in a related manufacturing or engineering environment.
**Skills**:
ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001, Management systems, participate in and demonstrate positive attitude towards COP's, RIE, Value stream mapping and other Continuous improvement activities, Health and safety programs.
