What will you do
- Assists Production supervisors in overseeing and managing all assembly activities in a single group, from functional perspective.
- Supervises production tasks assigned according to established quality guidelines and EHS requirements.
- Dedicates tasks as necessary to member of assigned assembly group or assembly line.
- Performs trouble shooting activities in case of technological or procedural problems, as first level of escalation.
- Involves superior Supervisor or Management, if necessary.
- Initiates ad hoc repair measures in cooperation with Maintenance.
- May act as Senior Operator in the group, and leads operators technically.
- Improve safety for all personnel that work in and around production lines
- Drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality and increase productivity
- Adhere to production schedule by establishing priorities, assigning personnel to work areas, monitoring progress, making personnel/priority adjustments, resolving line constraint problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries
- Plan, oversee and document training of personnel
- Conduct annual employee performance reviews
- Work closely with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence
- Maintain working relationship with local union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement
- Liason between Manufacturing and Engineering
What will you need to succeed?
- 2 to 3 Years of experiene as production supervisor
- Bachelor as Industrial, Mechanical or related
- Lean Manufacturin knowledge
- Kaizen Knowledge
- 6S´s Knowledge
- SAP knowledge
