This position involves heading a team in the Electrification Business, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures, and quality and safety standards and policies.
In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.
**This position reports to**:
Production Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the production area.
- Identifying deficiencies in production, proposing improvements, and overseeing their implementation.
- Identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements.
- Working with HR Management to ensure that the production area is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Guiding, motivating and developing less experienced team members to reach their potential.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- People with completed secondary studies with electrical or electromechanical technician degree, who have at least 5 years of experience in operational tasks in Manufacturing industries.
- Experience and/or knowledge in Production Planning at the shop floor level.
- 2 Years of experience on assembly processes and managing hourly personnel.
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line.
(Supervisory experience is an advantage.).
- Ability to manage personnel and technical skills to understand and follow electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma training.
- English language proficiency for at least reading technical specifications.
