**Production Supervisor**
**Main Pourpose** Ensure that vegetable seed production operations are carried out within safety, productivity and quality standards and parameters to deliver seeds of the highest quality.
Give training to partners and staff in general to improve seed quality.
**Key Tasks / Responsabilities**
Constantly visiting the greenhouses to guarantee the correct development of the different crops, the implementation and execution of all the activities that each crop needs from sowing to the end of the harvest.
Make sure that all activities such as sowing, transplanting, pruning, hybridization, harvesting, etc., are carried out in accordance with our work instructions and processes to deliver the required quality, and meet the requested quantities.
Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.
Raise security awareness; give lectures and trainings to employees on safety issues.
On time, give people all the information they need to know about HSE and make sure they carry out their assigned activities.
Constantly train production personnel in seed production processes, greenhouse management, and climate and irrigation management to ensure an increase in the quality and quantity of the seeds produced.
Give staff the necessary tools to perform their daily work, and obtain the latest crop management information to increase quality standards.
Carry out projects to improve quality and quantity and reduce production costs.
Make reports and collect information on the processes (sowing, transplanting, pruning, hybridization, harvesting, quality results, etc.
), for the production area to be analyzed and used to improve processes.
Make presentations of the crops to share with the production team of the site, and with the global teams.
Development of Continuous Improvement Projects.
Ensure that the area under his responsibility operates according to the processes established in the Quality management system Ensure that the process of establishing and monitoring business and development objectives is established in accordance with the guidelines of the Bayer system.
Ensure that the information generated in the processes is found in the team sites with the purpose of improving the processes.
Making estimates in FIDO and SAP, Teamsites or any other way of keeping the files stored.
**Qualifications & Competencies**
Studies: Engineering, areas: Agronomy, Protected Horticulture Experience: 2 years in a similar position.
Areas of expertise: Agronomy, fertigation, Applications.
Management of the English language: 80-90% spoken, read and written Advanced Leadership Advanced Communication
