Production Supervisor

What will you do? Supervises production tasks assigned according to established quality guidelines and EHS requirements. Dedicates tasks as necessary to member of assigned assembly group or assembly line. Performs troubleshooting activities in case of technological or procedural problems, as first level of escalation. Involves superior Supervisor or Management, if necessary. Initiates ad hoc repair measures in cooperation with Maintenance. May act as Senior Operator in the group, and leads operators technically. Improve safety for all personnel that work in and around production lines. Drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality and increase productivity. Adhere to production schedule by establishing priorities, assigning personnel to work areas, monitoring progress, making personnel/priority adjustments, resolving line constraint problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries. Plan, oversee and document training of personnel. Conduct annual employee performance reviews. Work closely with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence. Maintain working relationship with local union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement. Liason between Manufacturing and Engineering. What will you need to succeed? 2 to 3 Years of experience as a production supervisor. Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or related field. Lean Manufacturing knowledge. Kaizen Knowledge. 6S´s Knowledge. SAP knowledge.
