BorgWarner Fuel Systems and Aftermarket is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Production Supervisor.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Product Line Manager, the Production Supervisor being a leader and facilitator of the work and activities of the work team to comply with the objectives of safety, quality, production, environment and work systems in general, to satisfy the requirements of our clients.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Promote and ensure compliance with the company's security policies, as well as give timely follow-up to the closure of the determination of unsafe conditions.
- Participate in accident/incident investigation.
- Promoter of environmental awareness.
- Execute the Emergency Response Plan correctly according to the procedure.
- Carry out LPA according to the program and ensure that their leaders in charge execute it.
- Ensure timely filling of production reports (OEE), safety and scrap.
- Ensure the correct filling in time of the production board.
- Follow-up to the closure of actions in general of its cargo lines (LPA, safety, environmental, quality, production (OEE), maintenance, etc.).
- Ensure that the progress of closing activities is communicated to the team.
- Assignment of resources to the personnel in charge.
- Ensure training in the operation and detect the training needs of personnel at the workstation.
- Rotate staff across different operations so the team is cross-functional.
- Manage staff incidents.
- Participate in courses, workshops, training that are requested in order to lead the team to achieve the objectives.
- Promoter of problem solving (AD/A3).
- Determine if an improvement idea generated by a member of your team is feasible, manage the idea with the executor and validate the implementation of the idea.
- Conflict management (negotiation).
- Actively participate in the Annual Final Inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Mechanical Engineer Administrator, Electrical Mechanic, Industrial in Production, technical or related career.
- Time of experience in a similar position: 1 year or more in a similar position.
- Technical knowledge required: Manufacturing processes, Personnel administration, Quality and environmental systems, Problem solving processes, Safety at work, Lean Manufacturing.
- Other Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP.
- English: Desirable.
