The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere's ongoing investment in emerging markets.**Main Responsibilities**:- Managing the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks- Assessing the work performance of their employees and identifying areas that need improvement- Ensuring that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met- Training and onboarding new hires to make sure they understand their roles- Monitors and makes corrections to stay within the department operating budget targets- Directs departmental continuous improvement plans and activities- Implements and monitors safety programs and housekeeping- Monitors Control Plans, troubleshoots workmanship problems and generally supervises production activities to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements**What Skills You Need**:- 3+ years Leadership experience- Understanding of Deere Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Just-in- Time, Kanban, Demand Flow Technology.- Knowledge of general accounting in support of establishing and managing departmental operating budgets.- Understanding of employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit.- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.**What Makes You Stand Out**:- Working knowledge of the appropriate operating and information systems
