DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local
laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Provides solutions to the problems in manufacturing of current and new models.
- Performs basic operational diagnostics test. Solves problems and disconnects components, subassemblies and manufacturing systems, processes and equipment with the purpose of isolating failures, determine the solution and perform the necessary trainings.
- Analyses the non-conformant product in the production line; determines the root cause and proposes corrective actions working as a team with the manufacturing supervisor and with the engineering and quality departments.
- Starts, adjusts and operates basic laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
- Performs simple tests to the processes/products, as well as audits in compliance with quality and/or other regulatory requirements.
- Conducts tests and basic evaluations, experimental tests and design proposal researches under operational conditions. Records the procedures and results of the tests, as well as the numeric and graphical data for its revision by Operations.
- Can provide recommendations and technical support in new projects, process improvements and quality investigations.
- Can support the diagnostic and analysis for product customer complaints; perform the awareness session for the operators and determines the root cause and proposes correction and corrective actions working as a team with the manufacturing supervisor, and with the engineering, quality and failure analysis laboratory departments.
- Can support the solutions to problems referring to the product in question; evaluating systems, components and electrical or testing equipment.
- Can support the solution to problems referring to the product Customer Complaints; evaluating systems, components and electrical or testing equipment.
- Provides support to operators, group leaders and trainers, in areas related to the discipline.
- Performs inspections to his/her own work.
- Follows standardized procedures while performing his/her tasks, when applicable.
- Follows the Convenient Information Retention Administration Policies of J&J and of the Campus, record retention program, training and education, Document Retention Notices, Record cleanup, inactive records and Information Management, Vital Records if applicable.
- Other responsibilities can be assigned and not all the responsibilities listed here must be assigned.
- Has completed the environment and safety training, appropriate for his/her discipline.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
- Under direct supervision, performs tests and analyses product, supports research and provides feedback to the associates of the failure analysis.
- Develops reports in PowerPoint and presents the action plan to management.
- Audits the production processes.
- Leads and coaches support technicians I.
**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION
- Technical career studies or equivalent, high school or truncated career.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position, group leader position and/or training related to the position preferably.
- At least 2 years of experience in the products manufactured by Biosense Webster or similar products.
- One year of experience as Production Support Technic
