- Job Details:
- Monitor the daily flow of work so that technical issues do not prevent goals from being met
- Train employees in correct manufacturing methods and procedures. Continue to provide technical assistance
- and coaching as needed- Produce products as needed
- Review the accuracy and utility of documents used to produce "specials", develop and produce additional work
- procedures as needed, and assist in "specials" product manufacture- Provide timely and accurate information about production problems, equipment problems and yield issues
- to the manager, group leader and appropriate support groups- Communicate with team members daily to resolve technical problems preventing efficient, orderly workflow
- Provide back-up to the group leader on all technical issues related to manufacturing
- Perform all other duties assigned
- Job Requirements:
- ASEE, ASME or equivalent
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated effective analytic thinking and problem solving skills
- Must have demonstrated an ability to handle effectively multiple tasks and competing demands
- Must be highly self-motivated and have been effective in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read manufacturing documents and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity in JIT and Lean manufacturing preferred
