The engineer will have multiple responsibilities with mínimal guidance, which are to be completed previous traveling to site, which include but is not limited to:
- Review & report feedback of site readiness Audits (commissioning checklist/instructions).
- Review & report feedback of Drawing Sets and Commissioning Checkbook, which may include:
- Checkout sheets
- Description of Operations
- Commissioning Procedure
- Application Guides
- Order Entries
- Review Programming Tools:
- Laptop with Software (Siemens/Allen Bradley, Maestro, Tooling software).
- Attend meetings before travel with site lead/project manager.
- Review Commissioning plan and Schedule.
- Create travel authorization and book travel plans.
The engineer will have multiple on-site administrative responsibilities, working independently with mínimal guidance and policies which include, but are not limited to:
- Attend daily planning/safety meetings.
- Contact manager and project lead while on site.
- Compile information into detailed technical reports.
- Report & act in the resolution of on-site issues.
- Report & follow up any complex issues with responsible party.
- Follow punch list and update accordingly.
- Create action items in punch list.
- Submits accurate and timely reports of travel expenses, hours worked, and commissioning activities.
- Report & track on safety issues during field operation.
- Report a comprehensive performance feedback on engineering peers.
- Share technical knowledge with engineering peers.
- Participate on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Responsible to coordinate with field engineering teams, mechanical & controls, for project execution.
- Performs as a point of contact for less experience engineers, on commissioning & administrative activities.
Engineer must have applied knowledge of the guidelines of the project execution, including not limited to:
- Budget, engineering hours and travel expenses.
- Project milestones.
- Engineering deliverables, drawings, static software.
- Documents with specification to archive project turnover.
- Project risks & mitigations.
**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**What We Are Looking For**:
- BS/BA in electrical engineering or advanced degree.
- 4-8 years of successful experience in related field.
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
- Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
- Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus.

- Ability to work on individually and small/large teams from different regions.
- Ability to lead small/large groups to achieve common goals.
