.**Job description**Immigration law firm in Oakland, California seeks talented and experienced Professional Recruiting and HR Assistant to join our remote team from Mexico!**Policy**: Our firm aspires to have an excellent best-of-the-best team of attorneys, paralegals and administrative professionals dedicated to fighting for the rights of immigrants in the United States. To grow that team, we are seeking a Professional Recruiting and HR Assistant to join our firm to help find, follow up with, interview and vet potential employees for our ever-growing team.**Tasks**:- Implement and improve upon our existing hiring process to vet potential employees, test them, and explain the benefits of working with our organization.- Engage in initial phone screenings and video interviews in English with potential employees.- Help the office maintain an ever-increasing quantity of top-notch applicants to join our team. Especially bi-lingual immigration paralegals and attorneys.- Post jobs and manage our firm's accounts on Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn and Craigslist.- Maintain clear notes and records about each contact and each decision you make regarding all applicants.- Help the firm's Leadership Team make decisions about who to move forward in our hiring process and who to hire.- Once hired, oversee the onboarding, training and empowerment of new team members.- Seek to constantly improve the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and empowering process for all team members.- Be a virtual executive assistant to the Founding Attorney (full-time applicants only, optional).- This is a remote position. Must have working computer, internet connection, webcam and headset.For this position, we look for the following qualities in a Professional Recruiter and HR Assistant:- Have 2+ years of experience with Customer Service.- Have 2+ years of experience Recruiting, including with online job-boards: Indeed, Linked In and ZipRecruiter.- Have 2+ years experience working with a Remote Team.- Extremely detailed-oriented and disciplined with schedule.- Extremely trustworthy.
