Based in Querétaro, Mexico, you will be part of the global Sensor Technology and Integration department, responsible for developing the steering sensors required to continue enhancements in driver comfort and make safe, fully autonomous vehicles a reality. We look forward to watching you develop in our friendly, high-performing team.Tasks:Support the global sensor engineering team in innovative product developments in Electric power steering (EPS), Steer-by-Wire (SbW) and autonomous driving systems.Act as a key interface towards suppliers and internal cross-functional project stakeholders, leading the communication and controlling project KPIs such as timing, product performance, product quality, risks, and issues.Release component documentation/drawing into PDM systems.Coordinate sensor assembly sub-system design changes, creating risk assessments.Manage and document sub-system validation activities within ZF and with the supplier.Support manufacturing plants in pre-launch readiness and current production issues.Manage sensor projects according to ASPICE and automotive V-Model.Profile:Master's degree, Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or similar.Experience in the automotive or similar industry, including product development and project management.Good written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.Capable of working within a global and multinational development team.Structured, self-organized, team spirit.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Advanced skills in electrical engineering are preferred.Experience with automotive safety methods (DFMEA, FTA) and familiarity with functional safety standard ISO 26262 is preferred.Why should you choose ZF Querétaro?Benefits higher than those required by law.Insurance for major & medical expenses.Global development opportunities.Competitive salary.#J-18808-Ljbffr
