Essential responsibilities and duties_**
- The Program Buyer is responsible for managing interface between program and suppliers, anticipating the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), and ensuring the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the program.
The role selects and pilots suppliers from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives.
The Program Buyer belongs to the program core team.
Medium complexity programs (# of parts, spend, geographic scope, etc)._

The main missions of the role are:_**

Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFQ based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers.
Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyer in supplier negotiations and the final choice of supplier (leads sourcing committee process to select suppliers from list provided by commodity buyers)_
- _ Follow direct performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of the Faurecia Program Management System (PMS)_
- _ Ensure early involvement of the Series Buyers in the program before the series phase_
- _ Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers_
- _ Negotiate Engineering Change Requests_

Qualifications_**- Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business._

- Minimum 3 years experience in an industrial environment_
