As a member of a program team, the position partners with internal program team (IPT) in the development of program plans & the creation of program cost & schedule baselines & reports on large complex development programs or projects with one or more sites or Customer Business Teams.
Skills Description: Leads in the development of program plans, ensuring cost and schedule integration and EAC management on larger or more complex development programs or projects across multiple sites.
Extensive knowledge and experience with program management processes (cost, schedule technical controls, baseline development, assigning-time phased resources & budgets to work scope, performance measurement, .
Ensure the quality and accountability of program team for earned value metrics, analysis, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
Manages direct communication and networking with other PP&C analysts, global team members, customers and agencies on increasingly complex matters.
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization both verbally and written.
Effectively communicates to influence and create a sense of ownership and buy in among team members and leadership.
Provides guidance and direction to employees on Program Management Office matters.
Acts on behalf of management team as need for communication to employees on matters affecting the overall business or COE.
Competency Summary: Maintains Earned Value Management System certification and leads courses/initiatives.
Progresses through advanced level cost, scheduling, and leadership training, while developing and teaching beginner/intermediate level training.
Identifies development needs and training opportunities for analysts within their portfolio of programs.
May have a matrix reporting relationship with analysts within their portfolio.
Identifies opportunities and best practices for standard process/tool improvements, while implementing and deploying standard practices across programs.
Ensures analysts within the portfolio utilize standard process and tools.
Utilizes relationships with expanded cross functional groups, senior/lead analysts, program team and business program leaders, and leads teams through problem solving and obstacles.
Provides on-going coaching and mentoring within the COE.
Acts as a lead or single point of contact for the integrated program team on assigned programs, as well as acts on behalf of PP&C management as delegated.
YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or related field.
2+ years business related experience schedule and Earned Value Management related experience English / French communication skills
