.OVERVIEWThe Program Coordinator provides leadership to the USCRI Field Offices in Mexico, which will offer services to refugee youth and migrant populations around the country. Programs will include complementary education pathways, case management services, legal services, shelter support, and refugee awareness and advocacy. Core responsibilities for the Program Coordinator include leadership of a mission-driven group of case management and operations staff, quality assurance for client services, strategic program and funding development, financial management, and dynamic community engagement. The Program Coordinator reports to the Regional Director, USCRI Latin America.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for the leadership, planning, and coordination of USCRI operations in Mexico; - Provide direct oversight and support to program and operations staff and ensure the smooth functioning of the offices; - Conduct community outreach to identify clients and advertise services, represent USCRI headquarters in meetings with stakeholders; - Ensure quality delivery of programs and services according to funder guidelines; maintain a safe and protected work environment; - Identify and pursue new program and development opportunities through fundraising and grant writing; - Build and maintain relations with the office landlords, the building maintenance personnel, and key stakeholders; provide support and solutions to technical and maintenance issues; - Act as the person of contact for service providers and keep contract archives up to date; negotiate service contracts under the supervision of USCRI headquarters in the United States; - Develop a local and regional donor base, building local staff/partner capacity and networks; - Represent USCRI in thecommunity and with funders, government, community-based partners, vendors, and individual community members; - Supervise, evaluate, and inform about the developments and implementation of programs; - Coordinate activities of the field office staff and support them in administrative procedures as necessary; revise and approve office expenditures as necessary; - Maintain efficacy of the office and the program by undertaking the planning and execution of the acquisition of equipment, software and complying with USCRI and national regulations, supervising the management of archives, including maintenance of the online archival system on SharePoint, the management of equipment and file maintenance, codification, updating, and deletion based on the timeline of the retention policy; - Develop reports on program accomplishments for USCRI executive leadership using data software and basic statistics to show the progress and outcomes of the program, funding opportunities and successes of the program; and- Collaborate with Human Resources for the onboarding and loss of staff
