We have an incredible opportunity for a Program Manager, Clinical Data Science to join ICON's Full Service IOD Clinical Data Science team. The Program Manager, Clinical Data Science (PM, CDS) will ensure program and study level goals and objectives are consistently met to the highest standard of quality. They ensure CDS functional team lead deliverables consistently meet study timelines, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Locations:Mexico (office-based with remote flexibility)Colombia (home-based OR office-based)What you will be doing:Implement effective tracking and reporting to delivery to study contractProvide technical and managerial leadership, including mentorship and subject matter expertsAccountable for all CDS project delivery milestones, internal reporting, and progress reports for assigned projectsProvide consultation for CDS best practices (processes, systems, regulations, etc.)Oversee project status and escalate potential problemsPoint of escalation both internally and externallyParticipate in Sponsor and/or third-party auditsMaintain oversight for a number of clients or program work in a client partnershipSupport CDS strategic plans at client levelReview project proposals and attend bid defenses as a representative of the function when requiredPerform financial review of projects under their spanGuide the project team with respect to out-of-scope tasksOversight management and forecasting within the utilized financial toolReview financial documentation and assess preparedness related to all clinical data science activities from planning through data delivery/close outApprove worked units, forecasted units, and project invoices monthlyTravel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or internationalYour profile:10+ years of clinical data management experience in a clinical research organization or pharmaceutical company2+ years of experience working in a clinical research organization (CRO)Experience with all steps within the data science lifecycle and most major data science study tasks, with proficiency in at least one Clinical Data Management system required (e.g., Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical, OCRDC, UX EDC)Strong project management skills with experience leading a program of projectsExcellent leadership and communication skillsEstablished Mentor and/or SME experienceBudget and timeline management experienceBachelor's degree or local equivalentEquivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated above.
