With expertise spanning Autonomous Drive, Connected Mobility, Digital Cockpit, and UX, they deliver user experience design, software engineering and integration expertise that improves productivity, speeds up time to market and enhances innovation processes.
Currently we are looking for an Engineering Program Manager who will support business development in North America as well as lead engineering teams and own responsibility for delivery w.r.t.
timeline, quality and cost.
**Responsibilities**:
- Set up and develop engineering team (both local and distributed)
- Oversee delivery for several projects, support ramp-up and growth of automotive business
- Provide day-to-day leadership, management and coordination of all activities including goal setting, planning, estimating, resource allocation and assignments, project & program health and reporting, and problem resolution.
- Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and at a customer side to ensure transparent and efficient collaboration
- Collaborate closely with technical experts, delivery organizations, to establish strong centers of expertise around key automotive offerings of Luxoft, such as in-vehicle platforms, HMI, telematics, etc.
**Skills**:
Must have
- Education: a degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Mechanical or Electrical (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Good understanding of Automotive industry ecosystem and existing contact network of Automotive OEM-s and TIER1s.
- Proven program management skills.
Must be able to engage on the program / project level hands-on as needed.
- Experience with financial & budget management (P&L, planning, forecasting, deviation analysis etc.).
- Understanding of contemporary IT technologies and platforms (e.g.
HMI, Autonomous Drive, Connected Vehicle), product development lifecycle, software development methodologies, ASPICE is a plus.
- Ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships in complex hierarchical corporate environment.
- Experienced in working with distributed agile teams, nearshore \ offshore teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with larger agile teams and models such as SAFe, LeSS and others.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive results.
- Hands-on delivery experience with major automotive players at North American market
