If you love challenges, want to experience development opportunities unrestrained, and want recognition that pays off, then you've come to the right place with Lear.You will be responsible for as a member of the Program Management team, the program manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing in an independent and proactive role the assigned project.**Your task will be**- Initiate, plan, manage and control sub-steps (milestones), taking into account constraints regarding time, resources (money, costs, production/working conditions, personnel) and quality, until the overall goal is achieved and map them in the Lear systems.- Work with different cross functional groups - Engineering, Commercial, Operations to reach a common goal.- Make use of our different PM tools and softwares to define clear goals / task packages within the team members and interfaces, monitor them and implement the project milestones and goals (internal/external).- Organize, moderate and conduct management gateway reviews, for each of your programs, at the appropriate milestones, or as needed.- Manage risk factors for the project and take proactive countermeasures, draw up the necessary action plans with all functions and implement the required actions in a timely manner. You actively use forward-looking quality planning.- Present technical content to the customer in a professional manner.- Implement engineering changes following agreed upon requirements and processes.- Report progress of the project thru weekly status meetings with core teams.- React to new customer requirements and / or issues in a proactive and in a solution-oriented manner and adjust the short-term goals within the weekly.*****To succeed in this role, you will need**- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering / automotive engineering or comparable.- PM Certification (desirable).- Proficient English and German (desirable).- + 5 years in a similar position with experience in the "Seating" area or knowledge in the areas of trim and its components plastics, foam, fabrics, leather is an advantage.- Knowledge in blueprint interpretation, troubleshooting tools, APQP procedures, Microsoft office.- Ability to work under pressure, persuasiveness, sociability, ability to work in a team, independent, detailed and analytical way of working.LI-NA1
