The program manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple manufacturing projects within the organization. Serves as the liaison within the organization and the client. They will work closely with plant managers, stakeholders, and other members of the organization to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. The program manager will also be responsible for ensuring the completion of transferring manufacturing operation into México assuring the optimum service provided in the different departments such as human resources, customs, logistics, environmental health & safety, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES -Provide leadership and direction to project teams to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved. -Develop and maintain a program plan that outlines the scope, objectives, and timelines of each project within the program. -Work closely with plant managers to ensure that all projects are properly resourced, staffed, and managed to meet their objectives. -Monitor project performance, identify potential issues or risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. -Manage stakeholder expectations and communication to ensure that all parties are informed of project progress, risks, and issues. -Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards. -Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of the program, including progress, risks, and issues. -Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, engineering, or a related field, master's degree is a plus. - Fully bilingual - At least 5 years of experience in program management or project management and customer service exposure. - Experience in manufacturing startups. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
