**Introduction** As the Program Manager, you operate in a matrix environment and lead a Program Team (or teams) comprised of representatives from all functional areas in the business.
You are the key person responsible for delivery of the internal activities on time, on budget, and achieving cost targets.
This role has high visibility and is expected to drive the various teams - both internal and external to deliver products and services agreed upon by the portfolio manager.
This position is responsible for creating and executing against an integrated project plan, proactively mitigating risks and managing New Product Introductions, as well as supporting lifecycle activities through the life of each product.The Infrastructure Software Program Manager will be responsible for managing the Drivers, Utilities, Systems Management, and Diagnostics programs that support our portfolio of Point of Sale and Self Checkout products.
**Responsibilities**:- Own the "program-level project plan" and ensure execution on schedule _- Develop and maintain the master plan and schedule for multiple product releases and major Lifecycle activities.
Drive the creation of the Program Level Project Plan.
The Plan includes all key deliverables from all functional areas and establishes all key project checkpoints.- Drive the cross-functional team to meet project plan commitments.
The Program Manager ensures all team dependencies are satisfied on a timely basis.
Ensure change management is implemented when required.- Identify risks and mitigation plans to project schedule commitments.
Manage risk and escalations needed to resolve issues to achieve commitments.- Maintain program records and ensure completeness of all deliverables, in compliance with the Funnel Acceleration and Solution Transformation (FAST) process.- Manage program budget and achieve cost targets to meet the documented plan_- Understand the program's DE, L2, L3 budget and drive efficiencies via resource & capability assessment.- Ensure products / services / offerings achieve competitive cost targets.- Understand supplier contracts; ensure clarity and visibility while working with procurement.- Life cycle management_- The Program Manager is expected to lead the cross functional team to help close customer unique opportunities and resolving customer requests.- Oversee post-product support, quality and supply issues, customer transition plans, and EOL planning.
