We have over 65,000 employees and a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues.Role SummaryThis role will be joining the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Cost Excellence team within the BD Medical Segment.Reporting to the Associate Director, IPD (Infusion Preparation and Delivery) Cost Excellence, this role provides management of the portfolio of Cost Excellence programs and projects for the IPD Platform products. The focus of this role is identifying and implementing cost improvement capabilities and strategies as well as developing a pipeline of programs and programs that improve/stabilize product costs while maintaining or improving product quality and the customer experience. Projects may include improvements to product designs, materials and packaging, supply chain and manufacturing location, and manufacturing processes.This role will have responsibility for IPD Cost Excellence programs impacting products manufactured globally in 8 BD sites and at multiple contractors and suppliers marketed globally. The Program Manager will collaborate across all functions (Procurement/Supply Chain, Operations/Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, and Marketing/Sales) and the regions where the product is marketed to assure projects are developed to meet cost targets, approved by the IPD Platform to meet BD requirements and ultimately to ensure projects are resourced to meet budgeted timing. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with the IPD Commercial team to develop the cost per unit target commitments over the ASR for each product family. These targets are the BD cost levels that product lines must meet to enable BD sales and profit objectives. The Program Manager will provide oversight and reporting of program progress and financial analysis to ISC senior management & the MDS leadership team.This is accomplished through:- Identification of the future state for each product with the cost, capabilities, and structure needed- Development of ASR pipeline of projects/programs that assure cost targets are met or exceeded- Demonstrate clear accountability for operational, financial, and program success- Demonstrate leadership, learning agility, and action orientation when facing uncertainty or ambiguity.
