Job Description: Programmer/Analyst 1 Education: College diploma or University degree, preferably in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
Experience: 1+ years desired in system administration activities.
Knowledge: Knowledgeable of Unix/Linux and Microsoft operating systems.Knowledgeable on virtual machines and docker containers.Familiarity with GitLab and SonarQube.Knowledgeable of Software Development Life Cycle.Skills/Competencies: Ability to communicate in English fluently, with technical and non-technical staff.Infrastructure Management.System Administration.Testing, Security, and Monitoring.Configuration Management.Agile Methodologies.Responsibilities/Activities: Own the administration and security of our GitLab (Omnibus installation) and Sonar instances, including disaster recovery, patching, updates, and user support.Collaborate effectively with developers, security engineers, and operations teams to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.Establish a center of excellence for DevSecOps through creation of education plans, coordination of training efforts, and the creation of standards and practices.Contribute to process improvements across teams.
