**SUMMARY**The Programmer Analyst in this role assists in the development of technical tools and the team website. Primarily responsible for in-depth category analysis and strategy, planogram automation, space allocation, product placement, store clustering, and micro merchandising for 5,500+ locations across the United States. Documents and analyzes business processes to make recommendations to improve quality, cycle times and resources. Helps the team members with experience to analyze and solve problems. Develops training materials for computer related courses. Participates and/or leads solving more complex problems or larger projects**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Takes ownership of category strategy as it relates to planograms and stores space on the sales floor, informed by thoughtful analysis and strong collaboration with cross-functional partners- Develops and improves analytic and technical tools utilized by our team and others, including those available through our team website- Works closely with Visual Merchandisers and Category Managers to ensure category milestones are being met and maintain planogram integrity- Develops recommendations for category initiatives, including tests, product mix, clustering and assortment changes- Documents and analyzes business processes, creates training materials and provides training to other members in the team.**REQUIREMENTS**- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.- Three to Five Years of experience in Business Analysis similar role- Business Analysis, ability to derive actionable insights from large and diverse data- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Spanish); ability to effectively distil complex technical and analytic information for a lay audience- Proficient in SQL. Experience with C#, Java, or similar language.
