**Responsibilities**:We have an immediate opening for a self-motivated team player with the skills required to provide project accounting to support our Latin American locations, where you can contribute to the group's bottom-line success in this support role. The **Project Accountant** will have the following responsibilities:- Responsible for accurate project set up according to the terms of the executed contract for Latin American office locations- Process monthly billing- Responsible for reviewing weekly timesheets and expense reports- Responsible for vouchering vendor invoices- Works directly with Project Managers to monitor and analyze project financial management through the life cycle of projects- Responsible for maintaining accounts receivable including follow up with project managers, clients, and AR Manager- Maintain electronic project files- Participates in annual peer review audit of project filesQualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred- Bilingual - Spanish and English, written and spoken- 2-3 years' experience in an accounting role- Design/Engineering/Construction industry experience a plus- Must be computer literate, including MS Office Suite, and hands-on experience with financial database(s)- Assertive personality with the ability to interface daily with Project Managers- Strong client service attitude with ability to multi-task and accomplish multiple priorities as required- Team player with ability to self-start and work independently when required- Walter P Moore is an equal employment opportunity employer, and provides equal employment opportunities (including offering competitive compensation and benefit packages) to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to any characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws._Overview:Walter P Moore is an international company of engineers, architects, innovators, and creative people who solve some of the world's most complex structural and infrastructure challenges.
